Overview

Vault Attributes Pool is where a user can view and create attributes containing different data types to be used in a Schema to search and view information about a recording.

Where to find the Attributes Pool module:

  • Open Vault

  • Select Attributes Pool from Settings.

1. Display Attributes

This feature allows you to navigate the list of available Attributes in Vault.

A list of configured Attributes is displayed. For each, the list displays the following details:

Column

Contents

Name

The name of the Attribute is displayed.

Code

The unique identifier for the Attribute

Type

The data type for the Attribute

An Options icon appears if the mouse pointer is located above a row.  If this is clicked, the View Usage option is available:

The Delete option will only be available if the attribute is not used in any Schemas.

2. Add a new Attribute

This feature is used to create and configure a new Attribute.

  1. In Vault, select Attribute from the Settings menu

    1. To create a new Attribute, click the Create new Attribute button 

  2. Enter the new Attribute Name and Code

  3. Select the Type from the dropdown of available data types

  4. Click Save
